Jamie H. J. Guan
Jamie began his training at age ten when he entered the Institute for Performing Arts in Beijing, China. He made his Broadway debut as anactor and choreographer with David Henry Hwang’s Tony Award winning play M. Butterfly, and continued in those capacities with the London, Rome and Canadian productions and the American national tour. His choreography credits in Broadway production include "Flower Drum Song", "Golden Child", Off-Broadway's "The Woman Warrior", "F.O.B.", "Dragonwings", "Last of the Suns", and "Red". Mr. Guan most recently has worked with Debbie Allen. Chinese martial arts choreography for "Soul Possessed" and "Dream" at Kennedy Center. Producer/Director of the "Beijing Opera US tour". Mr. Guan worked as Associate Choreographer for "Crouching Tiger. Hidden Dragon" at 73ed Annual Academy Awards. Off-Broadway big hit show "Cookin" and "Kung Fu" in 2014. Tony Award Winner "The King and I" in 2015. Chinese martial art choreography as well as the Warner Brothers film, "M. Butterfly", "Saving Face", and UN South-South Cooperation artistic special consultant.
